Are you ready to step into the limelight? From the studio to the stage can be a big step for many, but one that we actively encourage and support. Students dancing with us gain a tremendous sense of achievement as they take part in our shows and share their joy of dance with a wider audience.
The annual ZeoT show will take place this year on the 9th June in Aula Rämibuhl. It may seem a long way off but for us, preparations have already been underway for some time. Dances need to be choreographed and rehearsed, costumes fitted and confidence boosted! Tickets are already on sale - get yours now!
To coincide with the performance project CHROMA, which will be premiered in the second half of the ZeoT show, we're very excited to present an exhibition of the colourful paintings of Sarah Zahno in the studio. Her background as a dancer is evident in the movement and fluidity of the paintings. Come to the Vernissage on Friday 27th April to meet the artist in person.
In addition to our regular classes in KP2 starting in March, where we'll focus on dancing with accessories, we also have some great new free trial classes and workshops coming up. Our oriental dance course is designed for children aged 5-10 years and the focus of the lessons is on playful learning to move and dance to music. At the same time we'll be running a belly dance taster course, so Mummies can dance too while the kids are having fun with Julie!

STRETCH YOUR LUNCHTIME! FREE TRIAL CLASSES
Are you stiff from sitting in front of the computer all day? Do you suffer from aches and pains as a result of bad posture or need to add some extra stretching to your fitness regime? Then our Stretch & Flex course is just the thing for you! Through active stretching and strengthening exercises we bring our body into an upright posture, improve our mobility and thus also our well-being. The exercises are mainly on the mat, so please bring a towel.

WORKSHOPS SPRING 2018
For the first time at ZeoT Amanda Pittoreska will present her workshop series ‘Datura style and Tribal Fusion Drills’, starting in March. Not to be missed, a weekend of Persian dance with Julie in May, coinciding with the Iranian Film Festival at Kosmos.
SARAH ZAHNO // VERNISSAGE & EXHIBITION!
Ephemeral Moments is an exhibition of both completed paintings and art photography that Sarah Zahno takes during the painting process. She works with different mediums that she mixes, searching for the movement whilst they react with each other. The moments that she captures on film are unique and fleeting as the painting is in a continually changing state.
Sarah, influenced by her background as a dancer, is inspired by lightness, transparency and movement. She uses sculpture, painting and photography to convey movement, form and the confusion of form. Looking at her work one feels cocooned, in a place where it feels good to be.

ZEOT HIP SCARVES IN NEW COLOURS
In collaboration with Social Fabric, ZeoT Zürich has created the first collection of exclusive and environmentally friendly hip scarves. The material TENCEL® is a Lyocell fiber from Lenzing. It's obtained from the raw material wood and the fiber production itself is particularly environmentally friendly. Materials made of TENCEL® are more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen.
